Plants at Glance is a personal blog about houseplant care, written and published by Syngo from Poland. You can reach me at plantsataglance@gmail.com.

You are welcome to read, print and share the guides on this site for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may also link to any page here freely.

All of the photographs on this site are my own, taken of plants in my own home, and all of the text is written by me. Both are protected by copyright.

You may quote a short extract from a guide provided you credit Plants at Glance and link to the original page. Republishing a full guide, or using any photograph, requires my written permission first. If you would like to use something, just ask.

Plant care information is general guidance

The guides on this site describe what has worked for my own plants, in my own home, in ordinary indoor conditions. Light, humidity, water quality, temperature and the plant itself all vary enormously from one home to another.

Nothing here is a guarantee that following a guide will produce the same result for you. You remain responsible for the decisions you make about your own plants.

Toxicity and safety information

Where I note that a plant is toxic to people or animals, that information is general and drawn from publicly available sources such as the ASPCA. It is not veterinary or medical advice.

If you believe a person or an animal has eaten part of a plant, contact a doctor, a veterinarian, or your local poison control service immediately. Do not rely on this site in an emergency.

Links to other websites

Some guides link to external sites, for example to source material or reference information. I have no control over those sites and I am not responsible for their content, their accuracy, or their privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement.

Comments and anything you send me

If you leave a comment or send me a message, you keep ownership of what you wrote, but you give me permission to display it on the site and to quote it when replying.

Please do not post anything unlawful, abusive, misleading, or promotional. I may edit or remove any comment, at my discretion and without notice.

Advertising and paid content

At the time of writing, this site carries no affiliate links and no sponsored content, and no one pays me to recommend a product. If that ever changes, it will be disclosed clearly on the page concerned before you read it.

This site is operated from Poland. These terms, and any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of the site, are governed by Polish law, and the Polish courts have jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection given to you by any mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you live. Those rights remain unaffected.
