I only needed some rolls. That was the plan – quick trip to the bakery and back. Simple. Easy. Foolproof. But then I walked past the little plant shop next door and spotted it: a tiny, gorgeous Aglaonema sitting on the shelf, practically begging for a new home. Aglaonema Care: Mystery New Drop
I’m still figuring out the exact variety – the leaves have this stunning mix of pink, green and cream that I haven’t been able to pin down yet. But good aglaonema care is pretty consistent across most varieties, so here’s what I’m doing while I investigate:
- Light: Aglaonemas are wonderfully adaptable – they tolerate low light but show off their best colours in bright indirect light.
- Water: Let the top inch of soil dry out between waterings. They don’t like soggy roots.
- Humidity: They appreciate a humid environment but cope fine in average household conditions.
